As of right now, you cannot forward text messages on the Iphone. It’s one of my biggest complaints about the iphone, next to the fact you can’t send or receive multi media messages.
Hopefully Apple will release an update that will allow us to do more with text messaging on the Iphone.

That is correct, there is no way to forward the text messages with existing software. They have been promising SMS forwarding for a while. Hopefully soon.
