		<description>The difference is that the $50 Sprint phone looks cheap because they stick you with a 2 year contract to give you that price. Pay Sprint $70 a month for 24 months and you have given them $1680. Of course they can afford to discount that phone. With Virgin Mobile prepaid (not Helio/Contract side), you have no obligations beyond a month to month deal so they make you pay full price for the phone, which is not that bad actually.

Do you want to save $80 but be in a two year contract? Would you rather have the freedom of prepaid? It is a question only you yourself can really answer. 

Btw, Virgin Mobile runs on the Sprint  network and was bought out by them recently. Expect changes at Vm , courtesy of Sprint.</description>
